Please feel free to pass my contact information to the food vendors scheduled to be at this year's Germantown Festival. Any of my staff would be happy to speak with them and tell them what the fire code requirements are for mobile food trucks/trailers.

As per past years, all food vendors will be required to have a fire extinguisher. The extinguisher needs to be an ABC type with a minimum rating of 2A, 10BC. If the vendor will be using a deep fat fryer, they will also need a Class K extinguisher in addition to the ABC type.

Permits have been supplied to the Health Dept. as part of your Festival Application Fee.
On Saturdy morning 9/07/24 please be prepared for you Shelby County Health Inspection. They will send multiple inspectors and have started as early as 7am.
